IMPROVED METRO CONNECTIVITY TO NOIDA INTERNATIONAL – JEWAR AIRPORT
Did you know an agreement was signed between the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on 13 December 2022? According to the agreement, DMRC was appointed to provide a detailed project report for the second phase of the proposed metro corridor between the IGI Airport in Delhi and Jewar Airport in Noida. It should be noted that the Yamuna Expressway Authority gave Rs 2 crore to DMRC for preparing the report. For those who don’t know, the planned Metro corridor has a budget of up to Rs 15,000 crore.
